Wordpress smilies code

May 13th, 2008 | Filed under English entries.

Actually you can get this code from an original page of codex.wordpress.org . I republished in here just for my personal notes. There is no space betwen main word and double dot if you want to use it. It works for all wordpress platform.

    @Rockstar Sid:

    I went to your blog, it seems you missing the formatting section. If you work with wordpress 2.5 go to your dashboard > settings > writing.
    in the formatting section check the box for “convert emotions like..bla..bla..”. Even you install a new plugin before you did this your smilies will never appear.
